THE WOOL TOWER IS NORTHERN IRELAND’S LEADING UNIQUE WEDDING AND CONFERENCING VENUE.

THE GROUNDS

Sitting on the banks of the Braid River, there are not many Mill Wedding Venues that offer such a picturesque private waterfront setting. The Wool Tower is set within Raceview Mill, where guests can wander amongst the quaint craft shops and sympathetically restored Raceview Gallery. Raceview Mill is situated at the entrance to the beautiful village of Broughshane and guests can wander along a kilometre of the riverside path which leads them to the heart of the picturesque village. With 15 acres of beautiful fields and riverside gardens to enjoy, your wedding photographer will be spoilt for choice when it comes to finding inspiring natural and industrial backdrops for your photographs.

THE VAULTED CEREMONY ROOM

An atmospheric room filled with character. Light dances over red brick vaulted ceilings and exposed walls to create a breath-taking and romantic backdrop for your wedding ceremony. Exposed brick walls, polished glossy concrete floors, cast iron beams and a unique vaulted ceiling create a reverent and atmospheric space filled with character. The size and layout of the room form a beautiful natural aisle and grand entrance perfect for guests and groom to catch the first glimpse of the all-important bride on the big day. The ceremony itself is held against a backdrop of exposed brick, beautifully lit to create a dramatic yet romantic scene. The Ceremony Room is licensed to hold civil ceremonies and partnerships for up to 200 guests.

THE SPINNING ROOM

Reception canapés and drinks.

Following the wedding ceremony, or on arrival, The Spinning Room makes an impressive setting for post-ceremony canapés and drinks, combined with the South facing courtyard and riverside gardens. The industrial aesthetic of the cast iron columns and vaulted brick ceiling create a marvellous juxtaposition against the luxury of decadent Chesterfields and rich woollen carpets. There is an impressive antique dresser, which is the perfect setting for you to add your own touches such as guest frames and picture memories.

The Copper Penny Bar

The stunning Copper Penny Bar is fully stocked and licensed and comes complete with a range of speciality Irish whiskeys, gins, vodkas, cocktails and coffees.

THE WOOL HALL

A breathtaking room bathed in natural light
Following the drinks reception, your guests are invited to take their seats in the Wool Hall for your delicious hand chosen meal. This stunning open plan space boasts massive pitch pine beams exposed brick walls and quarry stone floors. A beautiful, light and airy environment is created by the south facing Georgian windows and a Juliet balcony with original doors that overlook the courtyard; Guests will sit on either banquet or more traditional circular tables and flexible seating makes this a beautiful and inviting space whether you’re inviting 25 or 220 guests to your wedding.

THE DRESSING ROOM

A cosy space that has been furnished with the perfect mix of luxury and vintage.

As guests are welcomed to The Wool Tower, the bride will have the chance to enjoy some much-needed ‘me’ time and some pre-wedding pampering in The Dressing Room. This relaxing room will calm nerves, with a vintage dressing table, chaise long, sink, coffee machine and full length mirror all set against exposed stone walls.
