We have our Riverside Wedding Suite&6x Riverside Suites next to The Wool Tower. Within Raceview Mill we have Black Sheep Cottage & The Hen House. At full capacity, our accommodation can occupy 30 Adults. 

The Hen House & Black Sheep Cottage can be booked the night prior to your wedding if available, bookings for the night before can be reserved no sooner than 6wks prior to your wedding. We have local guesthouses & hotels within a 3mile radius of the Wool Tower, we have a recommended suppliers list in our booking brochure with their details.

We can cater for all sizes of weddings here as we don’t have minimum numbers. Our maximum capacity at any one time is 200 guests

We are an exclusive use venue with only one wedding per day, allowing you total privacy to enjoy special moments with your nearest & dearest.

Our venue hire is from 10am –1.30am, our bar & music stops at 1am

We can organise an indoor confetti shot, please speak to one of our wedding coordinators on this as a clean upfee applies. Confetti thrown outdoors is not permitted at The Wool Tower –this still applies to bio-degradable types.

A £750 deposit secures the date.  Your balance is then paid in 2 instalments.  Half, six months before your wedding and the remaining 1 month before your wedding.

Yes, however, we are very careful that those catering at the Wool Tower meet our high standards, including certification. Please ask your caterers to contact us directly for more information. 

Sorry, no. We have a great selection including inexpensive house wines. 

No, only alcohol sold by the Wool Tower is permitted.

We will be in touch with you to invite you to one of our styling evenings to discuss how you would like your wedding styled.  Then we will be in touch around 8 weeks before your wedding to arrange your final planning meeting.

We have two large carparks just outside our venue, suitable for coach drop offs

We recommend seating between 8 –10 guests per table

We do not have a set running order here as all of our weddings differ. On average our ceremonies start between12pm –2pm, Afternoon reception are usually between the times of2pm –4.30pm, Speeches & Dinner service is usually anytime between 5pm –8pm.

We hold viewings by appointment only on Tuesday & Wednesday 10am –7pm , Thursday –Sunday from 10am –5pm (wedding dependant)

A small continental breakfast backet is provided.


Every wedding is different. At your final wedding planning meeting (around 6 weeks before your wedding), one of our co-ordinators will sit down with you and tailor timings to suit your day

Yes, however you need to provide babies own bedding

You have access for setting up from 10am on the morning of your wedding. We can offer an earlier setup time of 8am for an extra fee of £150. 

You will have completed a Drop Off Checklist and these items will be left in the bedroom corridor for you to take in the morning.

We are continually enhancing what we can offer so this is a great question to discuss at your final planning meeting 6 weeks before your wedding.

For our round tables recommend 8 – 10 people maximum

Yes we will provide highchairs.
